Is anyone else here into extremely hot sauces/peppers? Just curious. I've been a fan for a very long time now. Always wanted to go to the annual Fiery Food Show in NM but never had the opportunity.

About two years ago, we got some ghost peppers. Initially the fun was to challenge each other to see who could eat the most. FOr those who don't know ghost peppers are extremely high on the heat scale, which defines the heat of peppers. The following year, we made a few batches of ghost pepper salsa, which promptly caused lots of GSI problems, but we enjoyed it!

I've had ghost pepper sauce but not the peppers themselves.

There is actually no pleasant taste from the ghost pepper itself. Other peppers have good tate as well as heat but this pepper is just extremely hot! the sauce is much better.

Thanks for the warning. Lol.

Honestly, I enjoy any food/sauces that are hot, tasty, and just right. There is a place called Quaker Steak and Lube, lol, and it has wings that are pretty intense. Also, authentic Chinese as well as Thai recipes are quite heavy on the heat scale. Never had Ghost Peppers but had the sauce once at Red Robins. It wasn't very hot, the sauce, that is.

There's an awesome Thai place near me called Wild Ginger. Also, an Indian restaurant, but they're so fucking expensive! And they want at least $25.00 before they'll deliver! I love vindaloo.

I think I heard of Wild Ginger. Wow!!, that's pretty pricy for delivery.

My hubby is the king of firy food. lol He loves anything hot and the hotter the better. He's had a ghost burger at one of our local restaurants and loved it. We took a video of him and my neighbor eating their burgers and it was too funny.

Holy shit! Do you have to sign a waiver to get that burger?

Fucking hell. Now that's something I definitely wouldn't try, especially not in public.
